College life was always full of…well, life. Studying, partying, checking out girls, rooming with best friend — always much to do. For Colonello, he had definitely spent his youth doing plenty; except maybe getting a steady girlfriend. So he bedded with a few, but he dumped them as quickly as they were picked up, claiming that they were not the right ones.
Not that he minded. He was happy enough staying at home and playing video games with Sasagawa Ryohei, his extreme friend and roommate — up until he graduated, at least. Ryohei had left to become an excellent sportsman, while Colonello chose to stay and pursue further studies. He was not going to get a new roommate, preferring to stay on his own at this point, but his part-time job as a tutor was not enough to pay off the rent.
So he was told he would get a roommate — not sure when, though. He sighed, slouching on the couch with his video game controller in his lap. The coffee table had a couple of beer cans and a sports drink bottle, an open packet of chips, empty Chinese takeaways on one side, and books and stationery strewn over the rest of it. He was also shirtless and in a pair of sweatpants, not particularly minding his rather disheveled appearance since he was home alone.
It was not like the roommate would come yet, with how dead in the night it was. And if it were any regular guy, they would understand his mess. After all, it was much worse when Ryohei was still around.
“Ahhh — so boring, kora.” He slouched a little more, sipping off his sports drink as he idly played his fighting game.
⊰ ————— { ♚ } —— ;; College itself was an interesting experience in itself. Well for those who managed to complete it, passed all the classes needed and well — knew what program they wanted to be in for. However for this girl College wasn’t all that bad – since to be honest she wasn’t the type to be a party girl. Sure she attended maybe one or two but that was at her roommates request of not wanting to go along and bugging her till she agreed. But now she was current;y roommate- less. How?
Well her roommate had decided after spending her last year in college to go abroad. And well – the girl had graduated before her and thus had to leave the shared apartment the two had. She didn’t blame her for it — no, they had become close enough that Lal Mirch as her name was accepted it and even congratulated her on it. A small party was held and thus came the time where one person couldn’t afford a two bedroom apartment.
So thus began the packing stage as soon as she had found a new spot. The place itself seemed a little bit… odd might be the better term of it. As she was told that the previous tenant that had lived there with the current was a boy yes – but a – well extreme one. She hadn’t met either of them but some part of her was hoping that the other roommate was another girl and that would – okay maybe not make it all that easier to fit herself in. As she knew she had more guy friends then not. But it would be easier enough… right?
With her small suitcase in toe she said goodbye to her old place and headed out towards the new one. Lal knew it was later in the night sure – but she noticed that as soon as her roommate was gone from her other one that if she didn’t pay up asap she would have to move elsewhere quickly. So this was her way of moving out quickly enough. Once she got to the place she took a good look at it. Didn’t seem all that bad, there was even a light on inside. Meant someone was home right?
Letting her feet walk up to the door, her suitcase ( one of three ) in toe. She raised a hand up and knocked on the door. Hopefully she got the right house. Otherwise she’d be standing at someone’s doorstep looking like a fool, dressed in jeans, t-shirt and her favorite leather jacket.
But just to be sure no one was sleeping or anything she called out as well.
