Which he now extended a hand forward to lightly brush over the fur, and then the feather. They were large, fitting for Lal’s size, much bigger than Falco’s — it was a nice feeling. He almost wanted to just hug it —

“A-ah?” He almost missed her question. “I…just wanted to see you, kora.”

Falco nudged at his head. No, Colonello did have a reason for being there, but was distracted by the wings — “Oh yeah, I wanted to show you a new trick I taught Falco!”

brush against the fur then the feathers earned
a slight shiver from the one who owed them. It
felt odd.. but not something that she found she
disliked. Perhaps it was due to the blond knowing
how to take care of birds. That may have been the
reason she hadn’t backed up – that and she did tell
him he could.

Though hearing him tell her that he wanted to see her
as the reason for seeking her out earned a small flush.
She wasn’t sure if he was trying to charm her or not but
his words gave her a pleasant feeling in her heart. Enough
that her wings seemed to be more relaxed at their extended
state then before.

Lal spoke back, to clarify what she had just heard. That was
his reason? It was kind of a cute reason though despite being
a tad disappointed that it wasn’t just for her.
