The way she flushed only makes him laugh a little more — it was always nice to watch her getting flustered, if not very endearing. Either way, he is indeed very happy, even it was just a spur of moment on her end for the bold moves. He is sure it would not be the last time at least.

He just has to initiate more, if she doesn’t mind. She already knew he was hitting on her anyway, so his next moves should be expected.

“So does this mean we’re dating now?” Just a confirmation. “I can ask you out anytime, kiss you anytime?” He would add more to that, but…maybe later.

where this was leading after she confessed.
Was he going to ask her? or did she need to ask?
She honestly wasn’t sure where it was heading to.
Though the fact that he was oh so happy about it
made her feel more at ease about this and feel that
even if something didn’t happen right away – even if
she may have wanted it to – it would happen. Eventually.
… Right?.

Still was mentally prepared for any question he was going to
ask her still did not seem to faze her cheeks which grew red
at hearing his words. Dammit cheeks, she knew he might ask
but she still got embarrassed about it regardless. Did that kiss
they both shared and them confessing to one another mean
that they were dating? She hoped so, but then again perhaps
the rules of dating have changed since she last did such a
thing.

     “ .. Y - yes. Well — if you want to date me.. ”.

Was Lal’s honest answer. They could like one another and have
one of them not want to date the other – it happened she’s seen
movies of it. And cried during those times. Upon his next question
was one that surprised her and gained more color in her cheeks.
Somehow he really should of expected him to ask those sorts of
questions but she hadn’t, but he still needed a reply regardless of her
cheeks and how they reacted to his words.

    “ yes.. ”.

Oh how she wanted to hide her face from all of this, but she didn’t.
