As eager to pick a fight as ever, Squalo bares a grit of aggravation, betraying not even as much as a modicum of trust towards the CEDEF emissary. All the while, her frankly rare compliment flies clean across the top of his unwitting head.
”.. Ah? Some nonsense you’re speaking, vuoi! What business do you have with me? You CEDEF lot are already enough of a pain in the ass as usual!”

complimenting him in her own way and he
took it as none sense? This was why she hardly
did it. Him among others – but she thought she’d try.
“ It wasn’t none sense. It was a compliment, idiot !”.
Name calling wasn’t helping her case, but it came out
anyway.
“ I was trying to get you to smile”.
Maybe honesty was the way to go. She did have a lot of it
if that helped with anything. Though she knew he distrusted
her as much as she distrusted him so it wasn’t like this was
going to be easy. But then again she did like challenges.
