PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THESE ICONS. MOST IF NOT ALL ARE MADE BY MYSELF.
theme cred©That one word was what he did not want to hear at this time. His instructor was blind, she needed all the medical attention there was in the field, and all she wanted to do was leave, as if she could escape this reality. How he wanted to punch her right now.
“You know he already knows what’s happened to you, kora!” He realized that his grip was tightening on her, and he had to draw in another deep breath to ease himself. This was not the time to lose his temper, not when Lal was probably the one more traumatized than he was, and her pride was certainly much higher than his own.
“Look, he’s not going to come in.” Iemitsu knew better, unlike Colonello who overreacted during times like this, when they involved people that he genuinely cared to the core —
“You’re gonna get hurt running around out there, idiot. Stay.” He let go of her now, to put both hands gently on her shoulders instead in almost a pleading manner.

—— ;; Anger was something she kind of
expected. If she was in his spot, she would
be as angry as he was. But he should at least
understand her reason why she wanted to leave
right? The words he said after made her bite her
bottom lip a bit. Iemitsu knew – of course he did
he always knew what happened before anyone
what on earth made her think he wouldn’t know this
slip up?
“ Shit ! ”
She cursed, not happy with his response. She did notice
the grip tighten on her arm and she kept her gaze on what
she thought was him, following his voice to try and focus
better.
“ Who else knows? Does Basil? Oregano?
Who else knows? ”.
Lal questioned, despite the blankness in her eyes her
expression told that she would if given the chance redo
the mission – redo the part she was regretting she did –
the part that made her loose her eye sight. But her pride
was also desperate not to have anyone else know to
save herself from crumbling down into a position she
didn’t want to experience.
The next words Colonello said made her tense shoulders
seem to relax a bit in response. He wasn’t going to come in?
Iemitsu who – was like a father to her wasn’t going to waltz in
here and sternly tell her that she disappointed him or that what
had happened to her was permanent. That part – the idea of it
scared her to the bone. She knew she relied on her eyesight too
much, but to have it taken away so easily scared her.
Feeling hands on her shoulders followed by the words he said
next made Lal look at him dead on – not that her eyes knew.
He sounded – no his actions she knew he honestly didn’t want
her to leave – at least through the window not with her balance
being shit and she herself was doubting herself now.
“ I should be fine ”.
That part was a lie, as she herself a girl who never doubted herself
doubted her ability to maneuver without her sight. But she wasn’t
going to let him know that. That would prove that she wasn’t as
strong as she always seemed to be. That she was vulnerable.
“ If I stay, – if. What do you expect me to do? Sit around? ”
Lal frowned at the thought, she wasn’t fond of that sort of thing.
ever. Yet, she felt he probably was going to babysit her so she
stayed. Probably.
“ You know I don’t like hospitals. And besides, I have this feeling
that you are going to keep me here regardless of what I want, right?
So the doctors can look over my – ”
She pauses to gesture to her eyes and moves a hand to grasp part
of his arm.
" You know – so if I have to stay. Then stay with me. “
By now without really realizing it her body was slightly leaning into
him – like he was a comfort to her wound.
” .. Please“.
