Though the former soldier had spoken calmly and with no hint of aggression or rage, Haru was still doubting whether she ought not to have approached her. After all, she probably had missions to complete and Colonello to beat up and training to do—her spirits sank at this—and what did they even have in common? Haru was fairly certain that Lal-san was not interested in perusing French bakeries or embroidering skirt hems. Suddenly, a black gleam caught her eye and sparked a most wonderful idea.

“Ne, Lal-san, do you want to go paint-balling?"

 —— ;; The silence was something that Lal didn’t really
expect from the girl. Since she often knew her for being
quite more talkative about things – anything actually be it
cakes or things herself and Kyoko had done together. Yet
upon seeing the black gleam caught her eye as though an
devious idea sprang forth to her made her unsure she wanted
to keep to her agreement of hanging out with her.

Usually that dark look meant trouble for her and it mostly came
from luce who—- wait what? Haru wanted to go paint-balling? Really?
That was something she did not expect the younger girl to suggest.
But at least it wasn’t dress shopping or something that had to do
with frills of any kind.

     ” Ah, sure. Just know that I won’t go easy on you“.

Lal spoke, not that she really had paint balled enough, she had. But
not enough to be a professional. Though her aim with a gun was on
the other hand something else. So in a way she was a lethal threat
on the paint ball field so to speak.</sub>
