It was a pleasant surprise for sure, that she had not immediately pulled away when he returned it, but even continued without much hesitation — moreover with the arms that settled around his neck. It prompted him to rest his own on her waist, tilting her head back gently as he rose to a more comfortable position for himself — their height difference was endearing, though troublesome right now. He hoped she did not mind, because he wanted to keep the lock as long as he could while he still dared. While she still allowed it.

And it was not until she tore away that he realized that he needed air himself, eyes half-lidded with fondness at her expression. His was a little pink, quite flattered by her reply.

Colonello could not help it. He laughed. It is a happy laugh. But to show that he was not laughing at her, he leaned down to press his forehead lightly against hers affectionately.

“I thought you’re predictable, but I guess not anymore. I’m glad anyway, kora.” Glad that all the years of work had not been in vain. “I must be the luckiest man in the world!” How many ever managed to tame a demonic woman as he did?

she honestly didn’t think she would ever see from him.
If not more so she’d imagine it, but ti see it in person
was… well it made her glad she finally told him her feelings
in order to see the reaction — a happy reaction. The pink
cheeks were even kind of maybe sort of cute to her as well.

However the laugh that erupted afterwords made her blink and
she momentarily thought that he was laughing at her – but when
he leaned in to press his forehead lightly against her own her own
cheeks reddened a bit, but she could tell that he didn’t mean it in
the way she first thought. He was happy.

At his words she blinked once more then smiled a little. Her predictable?
Is that what she had been to him before? Well in a way she was happy
that she was less predictable and was able to surprise him. Even if it was
only a little bit.

        “ Luckiest man in the world? I - I wouldn’t go that far, stupid..”.

Lal spoke, flushing at how happy he was about it. Gaining herself embarrassment
towards the situation. Luckiest man in the world? Now he was sounding a bit like
her father towards her mother. Or was it the other way around? She wasn’t sure
but she knew she heard these words before from her parents.

     “ But, I’m glad this.. ah – well what happened made you this happy”.

She added, flushing a tad more and moving to drop her arms from around his neck,
now her embarrassment taking over how bold she had been previously.</sub>
