Honestly, being silent is very, very awkward to him. He is much more used to talking, or if he could not talk (considering the fact that he is alone almost all the time at work on Mafialand), he would do something to occupy himself, attract attention, mess around with his bird, anything that an audience would find exciting or amusing, which will deem the scene loud to him.

Helping Lal to her house is not loud, because he is being careful, cautious with handling her. He even only managed an “ah” to her apology, just a little weirded out by it. She isn’t that heavy to him, since he is used to carrying heavy loads and arms, so he merely shrugged to it. He could have just carried her bridal style, or over his shoulder, if it weren’t because she seemed highly sensitive.

Once they arrived, he is glad to breath after she takes off from him, wondering momentarily why he had been holding most of his breath. He closes the door behind him, having entered after her, and merely moves to stand in the center of the room on attention — a bad habit, never relaxed, as he listens.

Straight to the point. Colonello first raises an eyebrow — a trigger word? And then he reads the word written on the paper, mouth forming another “ah”. …Yeah, he did say that, didn’t he.

Shit.

A bout of laughter came to him, and he is almost doubling over with a hand over his face to smother it as much as he can, almost missing the threat. Out of relief, but also mostly out of pure amusement. It takes a while for him to calm down.

“Sorry — ” He is glad he can speak normally now. He is still grinning from ear to ear though. “Why, though? Kora. Did you just have a good night?” Not that he wanted to know about it, but — why else would she have this problem?

—— ;;   The last thing she expected him to do was
laugh. And there he went after she had finished her
words, explained it all he had laughed at her. An eye
twitched as she narrowed her eyes at him. Unimpressed
with his reaction. Did he not know she was serious about
this?

    ” I’m being serious ! “.

She stated a bit huffy, despite his sorry. He was being an jerk
about this and on top of that his question made her turn a bit red.
Why she could answer, but he suspected she had a good
night? She didn’t – she wouldn’t – what made him think that?

    ” W - What ? “.

She spit out, looking at him oddly now, cheeks still a bit
flushed.

” What makes you think I had a good night? Because
I can’t walk right? I didn’t. It isn’t because of that..
b - besides I h- haven’t gotten that far…

She added, turning her head away while her cheeks reddened.

    ” It’s your fault I’m like this…
You are the one who said  the trigger word..

Was her final comment before getting up from her spot on
the couch. If he wasn’t going to take this seriously, then she
was just going to do her own thing. Which meant changing
clothes at this point as she was sure he wasn’t going to say
the trigger word again. Now that he knew.
