He did feel better, not completely - he could still go off at any moment, but it wasn’t as bad as earlier.
There’s no response to her question, dark eyes still reflecting a subtle annoyance as he tugs her into another liplock - this one less harsh than the one before,.
He’d apologize later, for now, he needed this.

19: Forceful Kiss
Reborn had pushed the woman against the wall, coal dark eyes meeting russet ones in a frustrated gaze. There’s no reason behind why he does this, but suddenly his lips are meeting hers in a hard kiss, all of his anger and irritation pouring into it.

—— ;; The silence was something she
expected, yet in a way it brought upon a small
discomfort. Was he really feeling better?
His silence complete with his forehead resting
against her own told her otherwise. Good. She
was glad it had worked. At least a little.
“ Now that you are better wh—”.
She was cut off by another lip-lock with the other.
Eyes wide before slowly narrowing down. Seems
like he wasn’t completely better. Just when she was
going to give him what for – for the kiss. Arms still
around his neck as she leaned in to kiss him back.
This bugger owed her big time, she was happy that
this was not a first kiss. Otherwise she would of hurt
him and not let him continue. But for now, she was going
to let him kiss her and kiss back to help put him at ease.
